Whew!

The hustle and bustle of Christmas were pretty taxing on all of us! We had a fabulous Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! We were with great-grandparents, grandparents, moms, dads, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins! We shared the story of Jesus's birth in Luke with our children, we ate good, and we were blessed with wonderful gifts. What more could we have asked for! Well all good things seem to come to an end. We have all found ourselves ill is some way or another now! Matthew had a 24 hr. stomach flu on Saturday, Jacob has itchy, water eyes, stuffy/runny nose, slight cough, sore throat, and sleepiness. Nathanael wakes up with a yucky nose (Thankfully that is all!), and I have been having some pains that I think are gall bladder related. Jocelyn remains healthy PRAISE THE LORD! Your prayers would be much appreciated for a speedy recovery for Jacob, good health for Jocelyn and Nathanael, and knowlege/discernment for me and Dr.'s as to what to do concerning my gall bladder.
Thank you all in advance for your prayers. May God Bless You ALL!

Snow Day!

As many of you know...I have been having a difficult time putting "fun things" into our school schedule! I am just one of those...drive em hard and get the school week done so we can check that week off! Well, thanks to our wonderful Homeschool Group that meets monthly to talk about important issues, encourage one another and just plain ole talk, I have been encouraged to "have some fun"! Being a licensed teacher by trade, it seems like this would not come so hard to me...heck I used to teach KINDERGARTEN! For some reason I just get too worried about the weeks and checking off what we have accomplished! I am working on it so...on Tuesday...when even APS took a snow day...so did we! The kids learned some valuable things too I might add...shapes, shape construction(Math), balance(Science), Creativity (Art), Exercise(PE), just to name a few!

My Little Stars on Ice!

Oops...Jacob's down!

Looking Like a Pro Jake keep it up!

Check out my little Joci!

Look at them Go!

Happy Sunday All!

I just wanted to share some lovely pictures of my "Little Stars on Ice"! Our church's homeschool group organized a lovely field trip for the kiddos to the Outpost Ice Skating rink and boy did my kiddos have a blast! They really have never ice skated and let me tell you they caught on pretty quick! I was so proud of them! Unfortunately Jake took one too many falls on his right elbow and it was swollen so big! But that did not stop him, he's already asking when we can go again! Thanks to my buddy Danielle I have some great shots of them since me and Nathanael were hanging out in the warm areas for the most part! Enjoy!

M.I.A...Part II...Look Who's 4 months!

The Happy Cousin's Playing!

Who Can resist that face!
Nathanael enjoying the jumper with Joci!

Checking out the gadgets on the saucer!

So Guess who turned 4 months old on December the 3rd! Nathanael went to the Dr. yesterday and is growing by leaps and bounds! He weighed in at 12.4lbs! Wow that is over a 7lb gain in less than 4 months! Anyway...we all enjoy him so very much. He has started to laugh and crack up at us! He also has moved from his bassinet to his own crib in his own room finally! His new bedtime is 8:30 and he will sleep until 7am! He constantly wants to be sitting up so we pulled out the saucer and he enjoys that for a bit! Where does the time go! What happened to the little 6.3lb baby I brought home? Oh well the times are so special that we all get to spend with one another. Praise the Lord I am able to be home, homeschooling the children and enjoying my little Nathanael.

M.I.A!!!...Part I

Look Who's the big 5-0hhhhh!
The Kids at Grammy's special Birthday Dinner!

Joci and Jacob on Thanksgiving day!

Nathanael and Aubrey's first swimming experience!
(I know I look horrible I had just woken up!)

Well....Guess it's been a little too long! Life has been a bit crazy! I am going to post two tonight since I am so far behind...Part I

Home again...Home again! Well, I am happy to say that Nathanael's first road trip was a complete success! He and his cousin Aubrey took to the van much better than we ever could have possibly imagined! The 6.5 hour trip was not bad and we only had to stop for gas! Can you believe it with two almost 4 month olds! Anyway...my mom rented a house in Scottsdale for the week and we had a fabulous time! We had a pool, hot tub, and were living it up in a gorgeous Scottsdale home on the golf course. Jacob played a round of 18 holes while Jocelyn swam until she would shrivel up! Nathanael had his first swimming experience and we all had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner! My mom celebrated her 50th birthday and we presented her with a very special photo quilt of the past 50 years of her life! We were able to see family too! What more could we have asked for!
