Tummy Time!
Well...we have been bombarded by craziness in these couple of weeks of 2009. As many of you know, my step-dad Bob had a very scary past week. On Monday the 5th after a weekend of fever, chills, dehydration, etc. we finally called the ambulance to come and assess my very sick and weak step-dad. It was clearly evident from his 105 degree temperature, atrial fibrillation and chest x-rays that he had a bad case of pneumonia. Bob just celebrated his 75th birthday in May and in the 22+ years that I have known him he has never been very ill, much less in a hospital! It was very scary especially when there was talk of possibly having to put him on a ventilator once he got to ICU. Praise the Lord it never came to that and after a week of being in the hospital he is at home recovering with a very good nurse...my mom! Thank you all for your countless and continued prayers for Bob during this difficult time. His atrial fibrillation has totally cleared up and he went home last night only with a RX for antibiotics.
As far as the Moya family goes, it has been back to school for us. Last week was a very difficult week getting back into the swing of things with school especially with our family crisis! This week has been a bit better! We had our first field trip of the year today...The Museum of Natural History, it was a free day so we took full advantage! Jocelyn has been so happy with her new digital camera from Christmas and the photos I will be uploading are from her camera! Jacob has been wobbling around in a boot due to the fact that his growth plate is growing too fast and getting too much pressure, etc. on it and it is to "calm it down" according to the Dr. so his heel pain will go away. Nathanel had been growing by leaps and bounds. I have had to put away almost all of his 3 month old and 3-6 month old clothes..."sniff, sniff" He also has found his toes lately and loves playing with them!
