Nathanael on the MOVE!

Picture Update!

Happy St. Patty's Day!
Sissy and Nathanael in AM!

The Brothers!

Nathanael is roadtripped out!

Nathanael going after the ball!

I will finally be posting some pitures since that is what we all really enjoy seeing the most! We have been very busy getting ready for so many of our travel! As I type, we are on our first trip of many out in Phoenix, AZ. We are staying with my Uncle Leroy and Auntie Fran and so far are having a WONDERFUL time! The weather is absolutely GORGEOUS! We took a long stroller walk with the Nathanael and cousin Gavin! Last week and this week were pretty relaxed weeks school-wise, we still did some form of school everyday but a much lighter load. It has been nice. Enjoy the pics because I sure do!

So many new things!

Our NEW piano! What a Blessing!
My Step-mom (mimi) and her grandkids!

I have been very bad about posting and also about taking pictures of my baby and kiddos! Shame on me! When I upload some recent pics I will post them but there are a few things that are just too exciting to wait on! Us Moya's have been doing good, blessed as always. We will be going on a cruise to the Caribbean with my mom, step-dad, nanny, my brother, sister-in-law, and my niece! We will leave on April 12th out of Galveston, visiting Cayman, Cozumel, and Jamaica! We are SO excited! Also, my cousin from Illinois, Philip, announced that he will be marrying his long time girlfriend in August! So we will be taking another family trip all of us mentioned above to St. Louis and then on to Chicago for a few days! Fun Fun! Nathanael celebrated his 7 month birthday on March 3rd and is on the MOVE! He has begun rolling all over the place! I set him down on his blanket one moment and he is in a whole other spot the next minute! He has even gotten up on all 4's! He is also clapping! It is the most adorable thing I have ever seen! He is one special baby! Jacob we learned has exercise induced asthma and is in need of an inhaler before aerobic activity, but let me just tell you, it hasn't slowed him down one bit! He is in the process of trying out some new gymnastics classes. Jocelyn is sweet as ever, she has really been a HUGE help around the house and with Nathanael. She just adores her little brother and he LOVES her! Homeschooling wise we just finished up Week 24 in our Sonlight curriculum which means we have about 12 weeks left! We have been learning about the American Revolution, Consitution, and the expansion into the west! We just finished the MOST wonderful chapter book, Carry on, Mr. Bowditch. Let me tell you this is a MUST read! We all enjoyed it so much we finished it early! Oh Yeah, one more bit of great news, my dad came across a free piano for our family and Jocelyn and Jacob are now taking piano lessons! They both had their first lesson with Kathy Wiggans from our church on Wednesday!

Nathanael Ian Update!

If you look closely you can see teeth!

Nathanael had his 6 month old well child check-up on Tuesday. That is when we found out my baby has RSV. Fortunately he has handled it very well and is getting better everyday. Surprisingly enough to me, he had only gained about half a pound an weighed in at 13lbs. He did grow an inch and is now measuring 24 and 3/4 inches, a whole inch longer than last month. The Dr. didn't seem concerned about his weight due to the fact that he has been sick and hasn't been eating the greatest. Remember how much he LOVED solids, well, he hasn't been to into them at all lately! But slowly is getting back into them. He has said his first two words, Da-Da and Bah-Bah. Too cute. He has his to bottom teeth, and he is now sitting up without any assitance! Despite his cough and runny nose he is just precious. Enjoy the pics! He is playing the drums on the baby wipe box!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello All,

We just wanted to wish you all a very happy Valentine's Day! Grandpa had Joci and Jake all day so Matthew and I and Nathanael spent the morning together. Nanny came by at 1:30pm to watch Nathanael for us so we could go on a "Hot Date" LOL! Matthew and I had a lovely lunch at Richard's Mexican Food (My Fave!), and did a bit of shopping! Yesterday he surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and...get ready for this.....my non-baking self decided to show my love and appreciation for my husband (and my children, they got the baby ones!) with a homemade carrot-zucchini cake with cream cheese frosting...in the shape of heart of course! (Its a family favorite what can I say!) I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day!
Much Love,

The Moya's

Big News!

I cannot believe I have failed to inform my fellow blog followers, Nathanael has two teeth! He cut his first one two weeks ago and Jacob spotted his second one as it broke through on Friday! His bottom left tooth came in first with little to no effort! His second one came with some fussiness, but he has been sick with a cold for a few days and I attribute a lot of that to his cold! We have been blessed with a baby who sleeps so well at night and now that he is sick, nights have been, well...lets just say, on the rough side! Please pray for our little Nathanael that he may have a speedy recovery from his cough, runny/congested nose, and overall not feeling well. Jocelyn is recovering from a sinus infection and I am starting to feel a bit crummy, a bit congested with a scratchy throat! Thank you for your prayers!
When I can get a pic of the pearly whites I will post it!

Happy Birthday to Jacob!

Nathanael is nearly 1/2 a year old so that must make Jacob 9!!! Can you honestly believe it!??? Where does the time go? Jacob has been such a blessing to our family! He just loves his little brother and helps out in so many ways. We were so happy to celebrate another year with him and we thank God for our children everyday. We decided to go easy this year and we took him out on his real birthday...Wednesday January 21st to see BOLT at the theatre (AWESOME MOVIE!) then to Chuck E Cheese ( I thought he may have outgrown that by now! What was I thinking my husband hasn't even outgrown it by now!) and then to Cold Stone! On Sunday we had a family get together with Pizza and Pizza Dessert and Ice Cream! It was WAY easier on us and still lots of fun!
